Is there any ban on getting the visa stamped?

I am stuck in India since 2020. I have approved I140 and I797 valid till 2023. My US born kid is with me in India, whose vaccinations are due soon. I got rejection couple of months ago under section 212(f) because of the travel ban imposed by the previous government. Under the current ban, I want to know that does this travel restriction exception apply only for those who have a valid visa already stamped, or those with US born kids and valid documents are also allowed to get the visa stamped ?

Please read through the below.

Thank you Kalpesh.

All the links provide information about travel. That is applicable for people who have valid visa. I want to know what happens to those who do not have valid visa as of now and want to go to a consulate for visa stamping.

Is visa being issued to people who have US born kids ?

You dont seem to have read through the faq. I highly recommend taking time to go through the faq as it has all the info you will need.

The Proclamation does not apply to:

  • Any non-U.S. citizen who is the parent or legal guardian of a U.S. citizen or LPR, provided that the U.S. citizen or LPR child is unmarried and under the age of 21.
