Is there a chance to get a wrong H-1B receipt number? My friend got a receipt number for H-1B as LINxxxxxxxx

i thought LIN is for only i-140? but it is for H-1B? is this possible?

Is this a cap-exempt case? Some months ago Nebraska center was handling some of the cap-exempt petitions to balance the work load. If it is one of those petitions, then the number would be LIN…
