Is SSN valid if visa changed from H1B to H4?

I was on H1B visa and hence I have a SSN number. 2month back I moved from H1B to H4 so will the SSN be still valid? Do I need to inform the SSN office about my change in Visa?

SSA (the issuer of your SSN) does not monitor visa activities. There is no need for them to be informed.
