Is police clearance certificate required For h1b stamping in UK ?

Hi All,

i am planning to go for H1b stamping in uk. I am indian living in uk from last 4 years.

Do i need police clearence certificate from UK police and Indian police?

Also do i need marrige invitation card in english from both sides as a proof. the one i have is in hindi.

Please confirm as i am not getting any clue on internet regarding this thing.

Any advice will be helpfull.

Police Clearance is not needed AFAIK

Marriage Invitation need not be in english, U can show the photo album of marriage if asked

thanks RaNa… also can you please tell me that would i need the bachelor degree to be in english? the one i have is in hindi version. My master degree is in english though.
please advice

Last Degree matters AFAIK… It is in english, so it must not be a problem AFAIK

Hi…did u get stamping done in UK?..I’m in same situation Indian citizen, residing in UK on tier 2 visa…have h1b approved…planning to go for stamping in UK…pls share any experience ..brgdsravitsindia@gmail.com
