I recently had a change of status from F1 to H1B, I have no plans for going out of USA for next 4 months, meanwhile if I change companies. should i have h1b stamping done in my passport for transition or not required if still in USA
No need to get stamping, if you do not leave the country.
You need a valid stamp to re-enter US, after you Exit US only…You need to have status maintained in US for any of the COS or extensions, usually you get I-94 with visa details to prove your status.
