Hi, I know I am a little late on this but I thought I would still give you my input 
I have been using Xoom for several years now and would highly recommend it. When I send to an HDFC account in India or Punjab National Bank my money literally gets there in less than a minute. I sent over $1000 last week and there were no fees at all. Definitely a service to consider going forward!
