I am currently working in India with company ABC. I applied for H1 through a visa sponsor / consultant located in the US. It got picked in lottery and is now in RFE.
While I wait for it to get approved, if I change my job in India will it cause my visa to get rejected while stamping or anything ( like if they have already done my background verification to check if I’m actually working in the current company I’m working in,if any, and then in the interview I’m going to be with another company for which they would not have been able to do background verification as yet) ?
Or is totally ok as my sponsor is not the company I’m working in currently anyway?
