My relative is planning to visit under B1/B2 category to spend time with us. Is for I-134 required? Do I need to prepare I-134 and keep it ready just in case the consulate inquires about the financial support? Thank you in advance!
If you are sponsoring the visit and will provide financial support to the visitor, you need to fillout I-134 and have the applicant carry it with supporting documents to the visa interview. If visitor is self financing the visit, there is no need for I-134.
