Is H4 extension needed even though I94 got updated with future date based on recent travel?

Hi All, My dependents H4 visa is about to expire by Dec 2022. I have got my H1B extension recently and also I travelled to India using my earlier visa stamped. When we return back to USA, my dependents I94 also got updated with future date in 2024. Do I still need to file H4 extension or is it not needed?

Your H4 dependent is good till 2024, no need to do extension of status. The I-94 issued by the CBP will govern the status.
