Is DS-160 is mandatory to carry to Visa consulate?

Hi I have not saved the DS-160 form But i have CEAC confirmation document .

1 Q . is DS-160 is mandatory to carry to Visa consulate ?

2Q. Is visa officer ask DS-160 ?

Please let me know .

No DS160 application is not mandatory…That is only for your reference and may be needed by your employer…Only the confirmation letter is important…If anything goes wrong then u can fill the DS160 again…

They might have asked for DS-160 confirmation page, and not the actual form.
