I have applied for H4 visa for my son who is 2 years old and our interview is scheduled on 28th Dec 2012. As per the interview waiver for children under 14 years old should he appear for the interview/OFC even though appointment is booked?
In case he has to attend the interview can he accompany a caretaker who is not in blood relation as myself and my spouse also have interview on the same day?
We(father & mother)don't have visa,its a fresh application.
Is there any issue if will take child?consulate authorities will allow kids during interview?
How much time it will take if we put child documents in drop box?Child will not be interviwed . It is not clear whether You have a valid visa or father and child are applying together.
1- If father has visa child gets a drop box case . No need for anybody to go inside the consulate.
2-If father/ Mother do not have a visa and are applying for child visa with them , still child documents are to be put in drop box. Leave the child at home if possible or the child with caretaker outside the consulate
