Indian Student - J1 Visa/ I 20 extension due to no flights

Hello friends and Kumar as well,

Situation: Student from India came on Jan with visa expiring on May. With covid situation, and no flights back to India, how to apply for visa extension? I-94 says admit date until : D/S ( Duration of Stay ). Will the university DSO be able to help?

You need to talk to DSO and get your I-20 issued or extended as required. if needed, you may need to fill I-539 for extension. Talk to your DSO on this.
