Hi, I have a valid H1B visa and currently in India. Planning to travel to Mexico to stay there for 14 days and return to US from there. Is traveling to Mexico from India transiting through US allowed ? Was talking to United airlines and the agent said it is not allowed and I will be dined boarding the flight if booked. The itinerary would be Hyderabad- New Delhi - Newark - Cancun. Thanks.
Only C-1 & D-1 are allowed for transit via the US.
