Incorrect name in approved i797 form. How to rectify the mistake?

I received my approved I 797B with my name misspelt and in wrong order. This mistake was from the attorney 's office .

From my understanding it’s easier to correct a mistake done by uscis than done by the attorney while filing. I have raised this issue with the company but I am trying to explore more options here.

  1. What are the most effective steps that need to be taken to get it rectified?

  2. People who have faced similar issue, how long did it take to get it rectified?

Hi,

I am also in the same boat my attorney has filed my date of birth in wrong format. In India it’s dd/mm but in US its mm/dd. So he has filed it in wrong format. I checked with my attorney he says they will raise Service Request for Typographical Error. Do you have any idea how long it will take to get updated I797? I have already got approved I797 which I need to get it corrected.
