In 2008 My H1 petition got picked and I left the company...will it be useful now

Hi,

My H1 petition got selected in lottery for the year 2008 July and I have left the company without taking any document of it…Can i use the case number for transfer or any …will it be valid until now… When I check now with the same case number it shows me your case is approved…Can you please help.

Although the prescribed rule is 6 years, yet folks have got approvals for petitions that were approved more than 6 years ago. Find an employer and discuss the case w/ their attorney. May be they will agree to file in your case as well.
