If my visa is rejected, Can I still stay on I 94

I am currently working on L1B. I have applied for L1A Indvidual as my Visa is expring on this November.

But I have I 94 till 2015. My question is if my L1A Visa is rejected, Can I stay on I 94?

If yes, Can I apply for H1B in 2014?

Your help is highly appreciated, I asked many of them and no one has precise answer.

Yes, if L-1A is denied, then you continue to stay and work until your current I-94 expiration date.

Yes, H-1B can be applied later.
