If i stay in USA on a Business visa for 4months in year 2012.
And apply for H1B in year 2013, what are my chances of getting an H1B visa?
What are the possible scenario’s in which the H1B visa can be rejected?
Can you advice on what shuld ppl keep in mind if they are on a business visa & think of applying for H1B visa

Your business Visa and H1 are completely independent. As long as you didn’t work on B1 here in US.
How would you define work?
If i stay for more than a month on B1, it will be difficult to justify tht you were not working…As business cannot last for more than a month…

People are on B1 visa for various reasons (except work), like training, knowledge transfer etc. You don’t have to have the proofs are certificates for this purpose.
