I live in India and planning to do an online U.S masters from a non-profit and accredited University. If I complete the masters while I’m in India, do I qualify for H1 masters cap? Or I have to be physically present in U.S and do the masters to qualify for H1 masters cap?
Well, this is slightly grey area. You should really check on the degree you get from the School you plan to study and then double check on the accreditation. USCIS has some guidelines and you should check with an attorney to ensure, that your degree would be eligible…Also, check with the Graduate school office and DSO at the school on this…
