I94 Question for H4 dependents

I am with Employer X initially and for me and my family we have stamped Visa which is valid up to 30-Sep-2024

I have transferred to another employer Y and for me and my family we have transfer approval copy and I797 generated for all family members and on that copy I94 was valid until 20-Oct-2025.

After that recently my family members went to India on 24-May-2024 and they are back to USA on 25-Jul-24. They did not do the stamping for new employer I797 and they entered to USA with old employer stamped visa which is valid until 30-Sep-2024

My question now is they issued I94 based on old Visa stamping + 10 days which is up to 10-Oct-2024

They have approved I797 copy on that I94 which was issued prior the trip and it shows valid until 20-Oct-2025

Kindly clarify if my family can stay can stay in US after 3 months of I94 expiry as they have new employer approved copy on which I94 is valid until 20-Oct-2025 or do they need to leave country again and go for stamping and come back

Were they carrying copy of your H1B I-797 valid till Oct 2025 and present to the CBP at port of entry?

They may not go for stamping however must extend I-94 by one of the below methods. Make sure their passports are valid beyond Oct 2025.
