I haven’t received receipt from USCIS still, but few of my colleagues got receipt number, Totally 230 petitions filed from my company, only 78 got picked in lottery so far.
Does it mean my petition was not picked in lottery ?
Nothing is confirmed unless you get your packet back from USCIS, which they will not return until late May or June. So you can wait patiently.
if you would like to know your lottery selection soon, you can ask your employer/ lawyer to contact USCIS through phone with your petition details. They will look up the system and tell you if a receipt has been already generated for your case.
Another way is to ask your HR to see if the check sent with your petition has been encashed. With either of the above, you should know your lottery status.
