I had H1B Stamped in 2007 ..Been in US for a year ..Need to check if my H1B is still valid for extension or its Expired

I got my H1 Stamped in Nov 2007 and been to US in Feb 2008 and Came back to India in 2009 for personal reasons. I wanted to know if my H1B is still Valid or Expired for Extension . In case of H1B getting Expired do i need to apply for fresh H1 for 2015 .

You are Cap-Exempt till 6 years from the date you left US or the expiry of your stamping (whichever is later)

Suppose your visa stamping was till 2010, you will be cap-exempt till 2016.
