my wife has applied for her H1 visa and i will apply for H4 visa. i am unemployed for 3 years and doing my small time things. Can my being unemployed status adversly affect our visa . What should i do?
Since your applying for H4 visa, your current unemployment will not affect your processing. H4 visa is purely for eligible dependents no matter what is their current status. Please make sure and be thorough of what assignment you wife is travelling, they post some question about your wife’s assignment in US.
