Hello All,
I had my H-1B visa interview at Delhi Embassy on 18th Dec, 2012. After the visa interview, the officer did not returned my I 797A and I forgot to ask for it as well. I wanted to know if it is the part of the procedure for the embassy to keep the I797 A with them or was it just a mistake. If I was supposed to get I 797A back after the interview, what is the procedure to get it back now?
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
