I applied for my OPT extension today and my OPT expires on july 5th, I am sure i won’t get in by the time. So, should I need to have reciept (LIN number) for my opt extension inorder to work.
You can keep the receipt notice as proof that you have applied to OPT extension on time and you can continue to work.
