I-140 filed few days back and H1b max out in may

Hi,

I have my I-140 filed on 16th apr 2020 and my h1b max out date is 20th may 2020. My perm was filed last october. Currently there are no flights showing till Jun1st to India due to corona virus travel restrictions so i cannot travel before 20th May. How can i stay legally in US amid this? What are the options do i have? Could you please suggest?

It is a tough situation. The only thing I can think of is to apply for B2 and stay temporarily until you get flights to fly backā€¦Discuss with your attorney and then taken informed decision.
