How to respond to a RFE on H1B

While sending my H1B documents, I sent the wrong resume file to the attorney which got submitted to USCIS. I received an RFE stating how I could work from date A to date B while I was on a dependent VISA. Can this be clarified to the USCIS that a wrong resume file was sent ? I have not worked illegally and have abided every law and would like to come clean on this and hope that there is a way out. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Well, all you can do is work with your attorney and submit an explanation for the mistake. It will be at the discretion of the USCIS adjudicator to make the call. Hope for the best.
