How to check the H-1 lottery selection if my OPT is valid till a date later than oct 1st

Hi,

I was trying to figure out a way if my H-1 is selected in the lottery to have some back-up plans ready as my STEM OPT expires at the end of FEB next year.
I understand that the return of the applications that weren’t picked will happen sometime in June.
Is there anyway that I can get to know the result of the lottery?
