How much does Bachelors degree % affect in admission after 5 years of work exp?

Dear Team,

I had a terrible accident during my bachelors…took a good 14 months to recover completely. This ruined by Btech degree and ended up with a little over 55%. However, did a diploma and managed to get a job an year later and now 5 years experience in supply chain analyst in both FMCG and Pharma industries. Always been interested in numbers and want to do analytics. Gave my TOEFL and got a score of 108. Will be writing GRE in April. Wanted to know how much will my Btech % haunt me? I was told the program at Univ of Cincinnati is good.

It may impact a little…but, the fact is that, your admission decision is dependent on many factors…if you can do well in GRE and get good score, it would be great. You can articulate your challenges of accident in your SOP and have an insight to the admissions team to consider. Dont worry too much about your B.Tech percentage, focus on what you can do now…highlight your experiences and your passion for your higher education…

We do not advise on schools…
