Bad news of lottery. My question is when will the lottery start? And when we will get the info of whether one is the lucky bird?

Lottery will take place within April 15th probably sometime middle of this coming week.
You would be notified by May end whether you made it into the lottery or not. USCIS will start sending notices starting April 15th when the premium processing starts.
Thank you for the answer! But, it start sending Apr15… why it take one and half month for sending the result to all?? That doesn’t make sense!! They can simply do the PDF doc and make applicant to check there id? Do you have any idea? thanks!!
They will inform the PP selected petitions first (through email) followed by non-PP selected petitions through regular mail. Later, everyone else will know about having not made through the cap.
