I’m a H4 and my EAD application got approved. How long would I take to receive the EAD card?Do I need to wait for the EAD card to apply for jobs? Kindly advise.
EAD card is generated and received within 1-2 weeks. The SLA is 30 days.
You can start searching for employers, and mention them that you are on H-4 EAD. However, before they hire you and extend final offer letter, they may want to see the immigration docs (i.e. EAD).
