Been waiting on my H1B extenion since April 24, 2012!! an dit is currently July 30,2012! Seems like a long time and the online database is still showing waiting. When will be a good time to upgrade to PP? Waiting is not the easiest
As per my understanding, H1B extension can take 2-6 months for processing. Upgrade to PP well before the expiry of your current petition and/or I-94.
