I am currently workind with my OPT status and my OPT will expire in Feb13th 2013. My company will apply for H1-B however I need to find a way to keep working. So between April 1st and February there is less than 60day would that mean that I will be in grace period and working or is that mean I will lose my status and have to wait untill october 1st? Also I read that you suggested somebody else’s situation company may apply 6 months prior so would that mean that my company may apply 6months prior to February which means this october 2012 and my visa will be ready for february and I just need to transfer, is that correct?
