my consulant told me that my application got selected for h1b and have got a reciept number… but when i see my case id on uscis, i dont see my name… how can i verify that reciept no is for my petition only??
You need to ask your employer that the check that was encashed is for your application. Typically, the recipt number will be stamped/printed at the back of the check.
But to be 100% sure, you need to wait for the physical receipt that will be delivered through USPS by USCIS.
