I have an approved H1b which is effective from oct 15th 2013. But I am pregnant and due date is in January. My employer is delaying the SSN application so that the period can be covered for paystubs. Should I apply for ssn by Dec mid and then go for maternity leaves from Jan and then join by Feb end . Please advice
