H4 Visa stamping - Two different Companies, Transfer, What to use?

Hi,

Currently I am working in A company and have my i797 valid until December 2020. My wife h4 extension is in pending. Now she has plans to travel to India next month for an emergency. Recently I got another offer from company B and my petition with company B is approved until 2023. My question is, Can my wife go for stamping with my i797 with company A because I will not join company B by that time. Or is she need to wait until I join company B. I appreciate for your answers.

She should use the H1B approval notice and the company that you are currently working with. When she attends interview, you need to be at that company…So, you plan it out accordingly. Her status is tied to you. If you plan to join B soon, you should ask her to wait and then use that for stamping…Just to keep it consistent.
