H4 visa interview and B2 visa interview together possible

Hi,
I am planning to go for H4 interview with my mother B2 Visa Interview in Next year. I am not sure what is the procedure for that. I saw in cgi portal if you add applicant there is no place to mentiom b2 visa category. If anyone know this please let me know. I am doing this bcs my mother is 67 years old and she will not handle Interview properly. If someone have solution please let me know.

Consulate may allow you to accompany your mother. Email the consulate you plan to go to and see what they say.
