Need few clarification on H4 VISA processing. Please help.
My VISA is getting expired by Dec 2013, I have my Kid's VISA stamped and her VISA is also getting expired by Dec 2013. My Daughter is in INDIA and she never travelled to US till now (but she have VISA stamped now). I applied for my VISA extension now, expected approval time is 2 – 6 months.
After my Visa extension approval, lets say I am going to get it in February 2014, do I (H1 Primary applicant) need to appear in INDIA-US consulate when my KID appear for her H4 stamping ? Or the approved I797 (H1b primary applicant's) is enough?
Please let me know.
