Hi ,i am booking H4 VISA appointment for my self as my spouse is working in USAwith H1B , He moved to NEW employer and got new petition but employerdidn’t filed extension for me as i am traveling to india …now i amplanning to go for VISA stamping with my spouse H1B Petition.But i have approved H4 Extension petition that was filed by my spouseprevious employer that will be valid till 2020My Questions are while booking appointment slot:Do you have a previous H4 visa (spouse/child of a temporary occupation,temporary worker or trainee applicant)?–> what i need to select (YES/NO), as i am booking slot with my spousecurrent employer petitionWas your prior H4 visa (spouse/child of a temporary occupation, temporaryworker or trainee applicant) annotated “Clearance Received” or “DepartmentAuthorization”?–> yes or noAm i eligible for interview waiver program ?
If you have a valid H4 visa stamp (not expired still) on your passport, you need not attend stamping. While returning to USA, at the immigration, you need to have the new employer’s H4 petition approval form, and show your valid H4 visa from previous employer.
For interview waiver program, the basic requirement is that you will be eligible for it, if your H4 visa stamp on passport has expired within 1 year on the date of application to the consulate. While filing DS160, after answering all the questions, it will automatically let you know what you need to do, if it is either drop-box or interview for your case.
i don’t have valid visa Stamp on my Passport …so i have to go for stamping …but my questions is what i have to select (yes or no) for the below question while booking appointment slot
