Hope someone can share some guidance on their own experience on this.
My wife is on an H4 visa (having an EAD) but the visa is pending for extension approval. My H1-B extension is approved until 2023.
She also has an admit from a good school and we’re considering to start school in H4 and move to F-1 later in the year (most likely via consular processing since H4 extension is still pending). Anyone in the same boat?
What if she applied for an F-1 interview sometime next year but the F-1 is denied? Her visa stamp would’ve also expired, would she be able to come back on a H4 status? would it require her to interview again for H4?
Hopefully some one can shed some light/experience.
