H4 to F1 during spouse's H1B extension

Hi,

I applied change of status from H4 from F1, now my wifes H1B is in extension stage (October’14). What will happen to my F1B if I dont get it before Oct’14. Do I needto apply for my H4extension as well or how?

Please suggest.

Your first request to USCIS will take precedence. If you were on valid H4 status when you applied, it should be fine. Typically, the COS would get processed by then, so no need to worry much.
