Hi, Ill be getting married this year in my home country. I am currently on h1b visa in US. My wife will not be able to join me in US until 2024 first quarter. Since Ill be getting married before Dec 31st 2023, can I still file my 2023 taxes as married filing jointly even though my wife not be in US in 2023? Or does she have to be in US before Dec 31st 2023?
