H4 Kid Drop box question

Hi

Need help !!

I am in US on H1b ( primary applicant).My husband had a dropbox appt on Sep 23rd ( H4- he submitted his passport and waiting for delivery),My elder kid ( 12 Years old) got the slot on Oct 7th.

Is it mandatory for the kid to have both the parents Visa copy ? If we don’t receive my husbands passport by Oct 7th, what are the mandatory documents for my kid ?
Did anyone face the same situation ?

Just FYI for any one who is facing the same situation as above .
Staff asked to write a handwritten letter on the situation since we are waiting for the passport to be delivered and handed over the rest of the documents.

Need to wait and see for the outcome
