Hello All,
I had applied for H1B extension in June 2024 and i missed to apply extension to my dependents and H4 expired on 30th Sept 2024.

  1. Can i apply for H4 extension with NPT
  2. Can my family stay in US until they receive feedback on H4. If Yes how many days valid to stay and if not what is the best way to process…

please help how to proceed…

Yes, that is the only option now.

They can stay in the US while the NPT application is being processed. Ideally they should leave the country if the H4 is not approved within 180 days from the expiry of they H4 status.

I recommend hiring an immigration lawyer and apply NPT asap.
