H4 ( extension approved) - Automatic Revalidation ( in US/Canada Border)

Hi,

My wife has an approved H4 extension ( visa in passport is expired), she is planning for a trip to her brothers house in Canada for two weeks along with our son ( who has US Passport). Is it possible for my wife to re-enter US through the Automatic revalidation process ? Please note - I will not be travelling along with them, her brother who is an Canadian citizen is planning to pick her up from US and drop her back.

Any suggestion you may have here would be appreciated.

Yes she can use AVR, no issues. Have her carry copy of your current H1B I-797 approval notice, employment verification letter and last three paystubs.
