My spouse works in US on h1b and I stay outside of US but travel to US on H4 visa (status and stamp valid till 2025) once every few months. I sent my h4 ead application when I was in US during my last trip. But due to emergency immediately next day after I sent my application I had to leave US. On the day of application of h4 ead (date signed on the form I-765) I was in US but I was outside US when USCIS received application and also on the receipt date (I797C) day. Is this a problem or reason for h4 ead denial?
Typically, H4 EAD application is not impacted if the beneficiary is traveling outside the US.
