H4 EAD processing

Hi all,
My H4 visa stamping just got done. I’m now planning to go for H4 EAD processing for the first time. I know that USCIS hasn’t started the premium processing for H4 EADs yet. Please find the questions I’m facing below.

  1. Do I go with my spouse’s company legal team to file for the EAD (they will take 3-5 weeks for filing and insist the normal USCIS processing time is 5-8 months)
  2. Do I file for the EAD individually?
    Also, any members that have had such situation, it would be great if you could share your experiences.
