Both application received by USCIS on Oct 16, 2019
Bio-metrics updated on H4 COS - Dec 4, 2019
Its been 118 days and still no updates on application
Question - If I travel to India and get H4 stamped, will my H4 EAD application will be denied?
Is there a way to expedite, my employer won`t give any extension, might loose my job
Hi currently I am in same situation but my biometric is also not done due to covid. In how many days after you received the cos and ead? My current visa expires in few months. Please suggest if you have any idea of what can be done.
Hey, My biometric was done on Dec 4th, 2019 and status changed to approved and card production on March 7th, 2020.
The only way to get H4 COS would be go out of country and apply for visa but that would be difficult due to the circumstances also post COS you still need to apply for EAD and that would take time as well. Waiting is the only option, it sucks but can`t do anything
Try to see if any congressman would be willing to write a recommendation letter for you, and then try to expedite processing.
Try calling USCIS and explain the hardship you are going through and ask for expedite.
