My employer filed for my H1b extension through Premium Processing and i got an RFE for that on May 13th. My employer also responded for that RFE on May 15th. But for some reason the status did not change at all in the website. In between i have plans to travel to India for my marriage and my visa and i 94 is valid Oct 1. I heard that when my H1b extension is pending and when i travel it will abandon my i 94. So my question here is if my employer with draws the application and if he files a new h1b extension after i come back then will i be getting i797 approval along with i 94. Please respond to this quickly as i am running out of time.
