I had my H1b sponsored in 2014. The dates on my H1b I-797 are Oct 2014 to Aug 2017. Due to personal reasons I had to leave US in Nov 2014. So I was employed for 1 month on my visa. Since then I have been in India.
If a company is willing to file my H1b, can I use the one that I have with date upto Aug 2017 or a new H1b has to be filed since it’s past the printed date.
