H1b Visa valid till 30th Sep 2015 but I94 expires on Oct 2014

Hi Guys,

I have H1b Visa valid till 30th Sep 2015…But I94 expires on Oct 2014.

Should I re-enter the country to extend or I can stay here without extending I94 since my 797 is valid till 2015?

Please advise me…

Your employer may file for extension of I94 for you, rentry not required.

Makes me wonder why I-94 is expiring a year earlier. When is your passport expiring?
